LARGE 1950'S NODDER KOKESHI PAIR

These delightful pair of kokeshi are known as nodders. These are my favourites to collect, even though they are rarely by any known kokeshi artist the attention to detail on the kimono bodies is wonderful. She always has an updo with a small kanzashi and he a wee top knot.

This large pair are approx 25cm tall and in excellent condition for their age. It is so rare to find a pair in such great condition. Her kimono, haori and obi are so beautifully hand painted and her kanzashi is so sweet. He is equally hand detailed. An excellent 1950's pair for the serious collector. Sold as a pair & I never separate a pair of kokeshi.
