Mother & Son Vintage Kokeshi

This beautiful pair of vintage kokeshi depicts a tender mother and son. Their kimonos are simply hand painted, suggesting everyday wear rather than ornate ceremonial garments, a restraint that strongly evokes mid-century modern sensibilities.
