Vintage Kokeshi-Small & Elegant

This elegant kokeshi has a demure and refined presence. Her beautifully styled hair, finished with a delicate kanzashi hair ornament, and her simple black dress with understated detailing — notably not a traditional kimono — make her an unusually distinctive piece. Standing 15 cm tall and in excellent condition, she is estimated to date from the 1960s. A rare and graceful example that will appeal to collectors drawn to more unconventional kokeshi forms.
